We are sellers and importers of Indian rice, pulses and spices. What makes us stand out? It is simply our ability to tell the difference between toor dal grown in Gujarat and the one that comes from Karnataka. We know it is not the same to you. There is no reason why we should think otherwise.
Indian rice, SAUCES & JAMS, Pickle & chutney, Beverages, pulses and masalas now within your easy reach One of our specialties is rice. India is a vast country, and the types of rice grown in different states all have their distinctive characteristics. So whether you are looking for long grained Basmati rice or the less-elongated Brown Basmati rice that has the same aroma and goodness of grain, come to us. We can help.
Not biriyani for a special occasion, but plain rice for more common use, say for lunch or dinner? We can be of assistance. We stock Sona Masoori rice if you are from the Deccan region or would like to sample South Indian cuisine; as well as the Surti Kolam variety of rice grains, which is grown in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, but finds fans among Gujaratis. But that is not all. We also sell Ambemohar rice, grown on the slopes of Western Maharashtra and imported all the way to the United Kingdom to take its place on your plate.
 For the love of food!
How could we leave out the ever-so-popular Ponni rice from our list of offerings? A hybrid variety developed in Tamil Nadu and loved by all Tamilians alike, it is great for everyday consumption. Not to mention nutritious. Fancy having idli for breakfast, but having difficulty finding the right type of rice for the batter? Again, we are only happy to help, and with a smile. Nothing gives us greater satisfaction than Indians literally having a taste of their homeland. You can also find idli rice at our place.
Everything comes in 1 kg packets, and if you would like to avoid repeat trips to the store to pick up more rice, we also sell 5 kg bags.
Rice alone doesn't make a great meal, which is why we also sell chana or chickpeas and rajma/kidney beans. Both these pulses are sold in packets of 500 gm and 1 kg. The packaging is solid, so as to ensure their freshness.
We know that living in the United Kingdom, it might be hard for you to grind your own spices, so we also offer Garam Masala, Chicken Masala, Pav Bhaji Masala, and the king of all masalas, Kitchen King Masala - all in handy 100 gm packets, so that you don't have to pay for anything you might not use. And oh, we havenât forgotten those who enjoy biryani - Chicken Biryani Masala is next on our list of offerings, to be introduced shortly.
However, that is not all. More and more regional foodstuffs are planned to be made available in the near future, so that you get the complete Indian experience when you shop with us.
