Join us for the 2009 STIHL Tour des Trees to benefit the TREE Fund!
The Tour des Trees, now in it’s 17th year, is the signature fundraising event of the Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund), and America’s largest fundraising event for tree research. This year’s Tour introduces STIHL Inc., longtime supporter of the TREE Fund and past Tours, in a new role: naming sponsor of the Tour des Trees. The 2009 STIHL Tour des Trees continues the traditions of past Tours, welcoming fun-loving, supportive male and female riders of all ages and professions who enjoy road biking, great scenery, and knowing they’re making a difference in the health and beauty of our urban forests.
From July 19-25 2009, STIHL Tour des Trees cyclists will traverse beautiful, historic New England, planting trees, making friends and working to educate the public about the importance of providing proper care for urban trees . In the process they hope to raise half a million dollars for the TREE Fund's scholarship, research grant and education programs. You can be a part of it! Join the 2009 STIHL Tour des Trees as a rider, a volunteer, or a donor.

Executing an event of this size and scope requires LOTS of help. We rely on local volunteers for support with logistics, snack and meal stops, and educational and public awareness events along the route. If New England’s your neighborhood, join the Tour as a
volunteer! Whether you have a few hours or a whole week to contribute, we can get you involved.
